So I was talking to a friend and he was talking about joining the marines.
Join To Promote The WAR? WHY?
At first I thought about it and I was like what for war to help them promote it? Bush and his boys just use up all the money to buy steak dinners. Why should I help their cause by joining?
We’ll I had to think about it for a while but at the end I decided it would be a good idea just for the experience.
Reasons Why I Would Join

I think their are many great reasons to become a U.S. Marine. Mainly for the experience of being in the marines and the extensive bootcamp you go through for 3 months (12 weeks).
I believe, the bootcamp will strength you and teach you discipline, teamwork and how to be a leader. Just the experience alone in doing it is worth it. It’s not that long of your life and you have another great story to talk about.
I plan on experiencing college life we’ll before I go to the marines is because I can go in as an officer rather than starting from the bottom and going up.
This means I won’t go to the marines for a long while. I still need to get credits to transfer then get my BA or BS degree then go into the marines.
Benefits Of Joining Marines
Check out MarineOfficer.com to find out more about how to become an officer in the marines. Benefits for Marines here to see a list of the benefits you receive being a marine officer.
I’m guessing this page here Marine Officer Leadership Positions they have many different leadership positions that you can apply too.
Taking a look at the Marine Corps Career checkout the link. It’s up to 21 years you can be a Colonel. That’s a lot of years if you do choose to go this route.
So Am I Joining The Marines?
I’d like to try it out, but we’ll see plans my change in the future. I still need to transfer from my community college and get a B.A or B.S. Degree so it will be a while till this happens.

Well, today is officially the last day of summer school. I did not do too well this semester, which I’m not happy about. They do pack on a lot of work within the 6 weeks of summer school we had.
I am ready to start focusing hard the next two weeks on 2 things mainly.
- Internet Websites
- MakeMoneyOnlineGuide , DietWeightLossGuide, TV Show Sites, WhizKidHost are the main websites I will be focusing on in these next coming months.
- I have been in school Mon-Thurs for the last six weeks so actually working on my websites for once this month is exciting because I haven’t worked on it for a longtime.
- I will be working on six Tv Show sites and will post a case study on my testings. These domains I have already purchased I will have six sites to put up in 2 weeks. I can spend about TWO days per each site.
- Health & Fitness –
- Will start waking up at 5am and sleeping at 10-11pm.
- 45 mins of cardio, every morning – right when I wake up after my in-home morning routine.
- Stick to a strict diet.
- Stick to a weight training routine.
- Take all necessary vitamins & protein shakes.
I then start school again on Aug 17th and will go to school Tues & Thurs. This time around what I plan on doing so I stay on top of my things.
- College Education Tips –
- Wake up at 4-5AM sleep at 10-11PM
- My hours wil be Tues & Thurs 8AM to 5.45PM
- All school work is finished within school TUES & THURS.
- Getting ahead with homework and studying ASAP.
- Actually, thinking about it and grasping the concept fully.
- Asking from help from people who understand it.

Although, I believe if you can manage your time properly and work on great studying skills you will definitely come out on top. It can be very tough to stick to your main priorities on a daily basis.
I’m currently taking two classes this summer of 2009 and that’s mainly one of the reasons for my lack of updates. I have been getting use to being outside rather than being inside and blogging.
I do want to continue blogging on a consistent basis rather than my once a month blog posts.
It’s also a statistic fact: 50% of all college students who start college NEVER finish.
Now to continue with this actual blog post.
Getting Through College Tips
- Identify yourself as a college graduate, before you are even one.
- Attend every class and be fully attentive and awake.
- Always do homework during school hours, so there is less work at home.
- Review your notes, every night, just read it over once.
- Start projects early on. There is no harm in getting things done ahead of time.
- Always finish your homework.
- Practice the ART of Prioritization.
- Create and Stick to a Schedule.
- Develop a Solid Work Ethic.
- Dedication to completing what you start.
Do you notice the common similarities between a college student and a successful entrepreneur?
They all have the same skills and habits which makes them succeed in their goals. I personally use to believe that these two things were not relevant towards each other.
I guess, as I get older, I get smarter and realize that that’s just an excuse to stop myself from being an entrepreneur and full-time college student.
If you really take a look at many of the successful young entrepreneurs they each thrived in their academic work also as well as their creative entrepreneurship skills.
I also believe, their are many more venture capitalists and opporunties that will open for yourself if you choose to do both in life.

I’m sure most people are interested in becoming a college graduate and land a great job in the job market. I’m doing research on how tough it is to get a job in our current economy being a college students in the class of 2009.
Many graduating seniors are finding it more difficult than expected to land an entry-level job after college. College students are only able to meet employers through their online websites by simply submitting their resume online.
According to National Association of Colleges and Employers, employers plan to hire 22% fewer graduates this spring.
Because of this recession economy college graduates are finding about 3 common options after college which are:
- Continue Going to College To Receive A Masters Degree
- Get a Full-Time Job in Your Field Before Graduating (This is what I would do.)
- Move Back To The Parents – Find a Entry-Level Job
I understand, that many graduating students will be in competition with people with on-job experience for many years. It’s now very tough out there and people have to put in more effort just to get a job than before.

My mom has encouraged me to attend college from the start. Being young, I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with my life. I realize and understand it’s an essential part of my life and I should attend college then starting my business only. I tried going to college but couldn’t find a reason to stay and sit in class now about 3 years later.
Entrepreneurs don’t need college.
You can create a business and succeed in life. You learn useless things in college you won’t need in real life. I didn’t want to go to college because you would have to study on a daily basis, do homework and attend class. You would have to struggle to get a good GPA and mainly people go to college to get a job. I also feel I don’t need to go to college because I have the skills and resources to make it in the real world. I can create a successful business online. Many successful business owners are filthy rich and didn’t go to college. Why would I need to go to college?
Everyone should go to college.
Sometimes in life, people need a change. Usually, by the time your ready for college your around 18 years of age. You’ve probably been living in the same city for 18 years.
By attending college away from home. You meet new people, gain new knowledge and enjoy new surroundings. Best of yet, you learn how to live on your own. Although, you won’t have enough time to work on your businesses or do what you want.
You msut understand that college is one of the best things you can experience in life. It’s important for you to network with new people while your are at school. College can be tough, but it’s only 4-6 years of your life.
What I Think About College?
I use to think you didn’t need it. Now as time goes on, I believe it’s a necessary experience in life. I want to talk about the few reasons why I think it’s a great idea to go to college.
- Change is good
- By attending college, you stay younger longer.
- The people you meet will be valuable in the future.
- The experience and fun is worth it.
- The guys and girls you can have fun with and party.
- You obtain more skills in life.
- You’ll obviously want a spouse whom has a college education.
- You can personally find a great team to use for your business.
- You should create your business while attending college.
- You hang out with a higher quality of people.
