I’ll list all the best ways that you can make money fast online on the internet for free. These aren’t really long-term stable types of making money methods that I would recommend if you want to get more into building businesses. Although, these are still great ways to make money. You could make $300-1,000 extra for your time and use those to building more long-term and stable internet websites or businesses.

I believe, everyone has to start from the bottom and work their way to the top slowly. So if you are a young teenager or kid, that doesn’t have a whole lot of money. I would recommend doing these make money methods listed below to make fast money send to your paypal account. You can then use those funds to buy a web hosting account and domain names if you want to further learn how to make money with websites.

1. Complete Online Surveys – Many companies are really interested in knowing what their customers are thinking so they can better sell you products, you will buy. They pay money to know your opinion, completing surveys won’t make you rich overnight but they can definitely make you a decent penny. At times, you may need to pay a fee to have access to a survey website.
2. Sell Internet Services – Do you have any talented skills that can be used on the internet? You can sell your skills on an internet forum. 8. Sell Your Arts & Crafts - If you are into selling arts and crafts checkout this site etsy It’s a market place were arts and crafts people can sell their crafts. If you are into this type of thing, you may be able to make some money with it.
9. Become an Online Tutor – If you are smart and don’t mind training and teaching people on a subject in school. You can find jobs on craigslist locally for students who are having trouble as well as tutor someone on the internet. You can get paid $10-25 per hour tutoring another student.
10. Make Money Making Websites – Spend time creating websites and ranking them on the search engines. You can get an access to free internet traffic and upsell them other products from clickbank, amazon or adsense.

I decided that fsckvps.com is the cheaper one and I’d learn moer in purchasing it because I’d have to install my own cpanel/whm.

I choose the cheapest plan with cpanel:

512MB RAM (1GB Burst), 20Gb Disk Space, 400Gb Transfer (approx 600Mhz guarenteed) – $9.95/mo

+ $13.95 /mo for cPanel.

Total of $23.90 per month.

There were no coupons available that I found.

It’s 100% unmanaged server so you have full access to the segment of space above.

They use the whmcs billing system and it was simple to sign up on their website.

It was also instant activation after I paid for it.

I got 6 emails after signing up. Welcome, Order Comfirmation, Customer Invoice, Invoice Payment Confirmation, Receipt for Your Payment, Your VPS is now ready.

Now I need to figure out how to install cPanel and WHM.

My dedicated server is beginning to be somewhat expensive, since I’m not making any real money on the internet. Currently, I’m paying a total of $119.95.

What I Found for VPS Web Hosting

I basically searched on WebHostingTalk and I found the best and most talked about VPS companies that are the cheapest. They are Fsckvps.com Unmanaged VPS Hosting and KnownHost.com Managed VPS Hosting. They both are enabled for cPanel at an extra cost.

By comparing the prices I decided to go with KnownHost because they are a Managed VPS Hosting company and I was only really saving about $10 to $15 by choosing an Unmanaged VPS Hosting Plan.

There’s really no point in purchasing a reseller web hosting account if they have VPS accounts at the same price as a reseller account.

KnownHost.com – Managed VPS Hosting Plan (My Choice VS2)

An FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. It’s exactly what it stands for meaning File Transfer. It’s used to transfer files from your computer to the internet (your webserver).

Once you sign up for a web hosting company. You will have access to login to your FTP account for your domains. You can then upload files directly to each one of your domain names and they should be accessible through the address bar or internet.

The FTP program I recommend is FireZilla. It’s a completely free FTP program.

The left window is the files on your computer. The right window is your domain name’s files. You just simply drag and drop from left to right to upload files to your website.

You then go to yourdomain.com and you can view your files.

Index.html, index.php, index.htm are the default pages that will show up when visiting your .com. If you don’t have any of those files it will show a display of all the files instead of an html page.

A Web Hosting Control Panel is an admin section that allows you to edit options or features that are associated with your domain name. The most common control panel included with many web hosts is cPanel and WHM.

A cPanel account is created with every domain name. If you purchase a reseller hosting account a WHM account is also connected with your main domain name you sign up with.

cPanel – controls the add/edit/delete of all email accounts and anything else associated with that one domain.

WHM – controls the add/edit/delete of all domains, you want hosted.

Web hosting is something that every webmaster needs to start his online business or internet business. A web host is an internet service that hosts your website. It makes it viewable through the internet for everyone who has an internet connection.

You could simply host your website on your own computer but for the average user it’s more complicated then simply purchasing web hosting.

A web host company has a big building of computers that are hooked up to the internet 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. These computers contain the files of your website.

When you type a web address in your internet browser adress bar. Once you hit GO or enter. It travels to the appropriate web server and pulls the data or page from that server to display on your internet browser.

Once you sign up for a web hosting company. You will need to change your DNS name servers to your new web hosts name servers. You can do this by logging into your domain registrar.

I highly recommend namecheap.com and 1and1.com for your domain registrations.

Once your nameservers are connected to your new web host. Your domainname.com should point to your new web host with the files that you  uploaded to the server.

If you don’t know what google alerts it, you should. It might be useful for your internet marketing efforts. I think it’s a great way to spy on your own competitors.

Google alerts is an alert system that will email you the latest relevant google results for the keyword you decide to minitor.

Google itself tells you ways you can use their alerts system:

Monitor a Developing Story, Keeping Current With Competitors Or Industry, Getting the latest on a celebrity or event and keeping tabs on your favorite sports teams.

As you can see, not only can make money online people use it but normal and everyday people can use it also.

It’s also very simple to create an alert you just type in the keyword and your email address.

Google will automatically send you an email address to ask if you want to confirm the alert. It will then send you a list either on a daily basis or whenever it comes out depending on how you set your alerts up.

If you are new to the world of the internet you may not be familiar with firefox plugins. A plugin is a special add-on to your Mozilla Firefox web browser that will allow you to perform special functions.

There are many different Firefox plugins that you can download for free. There are not many paid plugins that I know about I believe everything they offer is for free.

If you are running a Linux, Firefox comes pre-installed on Ubuntu so it will already have Firefox as it’s default browser.

They have Firefox plugins from Appearances, Bookmarks, Dictionaries, Feed Readers, Photos, Music, Videos, Security, Toolbars, Web Development and much more.

Firefox Plugin – Colorful tabs. I think this feature looks great.

Firefox Plugin – Firebug. As a web designer you sometimes need to edit your CSS this plugin becomes very useful.

They have many more plugins to enhance your Firefox experience . I’d also recommend checking out the website 30+ Must-Have Updated Firefox 3 Extensions

The main Firefox extensions that most people will be using are Adobe Acrobat, Apple Quicktime, Macromedia Flash, Macromedia Shockwave, Macromedia Media Player, RealPlayer and Java.

If you don’t know what a .info domain is. A .info domain is basically the extension of the domain name. The .info stands for Information Domain. It’s meant for websites that have information.

A .info domain will cost you only $2.98/year on www.namecheap.com. It can range from $.99 to $10 per year. You might want to check for the 2nd and 3rd year how much it may cost. Sometimes they fool us by a cheap 1st year price and 2nd and 3rd year are regular price.

I personally don’t really link the .info domains but for $2.98/year you can’t go wrong .

There was talk about .info being less in value but it seems it was a glitch.

I found one article on .info domains very reliable which you can find here Are dot info domains bad for SEO?

He talks about PRChecker.info and how it’s ranked higher than any of the .com’s around.

So in reality, I don’t think a .info would be much different from a .com besides the users personal preference on a .com or .info website.

Although, if you check on the 2nd year and 3rd year renewal pricings. That’s when it starts to get ridiculous. You will notice they want to charge you original price after 1st year which is around $10/year. Not only that, you could be charged with private registration for $10/year the 2nd year around.

Always remember to check the terms of service and full pricing before purchasing domains. They like to mess with you .

I may think about buying a few just to try it out. But might be better off with a .com for the same pricing. That’s my personal preference though.
