Social Networking is a programmed software designed for the internet that allows people to come together and discuss ideas around a specific topic of interest. An example of this is how Facebook allows people to create accounts and add friends while posting pictures and being able to send a friend a message. This allows you to connect with people through a central location on the internet, in this case Facebook. Hence the name, Social Networking.

The main goal for social networking is to network socially on the internet. Many people like to discuss and talk about things about a similar interest. You can also connect with someone and develop a business friendship. There are many different benefits for using social networking.

Secondary uses is getting traffic and branding from web 2.0 social networking places. However, this isn’t the suggest way for getting traffic solely. There is no steady stream of traffic at all times. Best traffic by far is still ranking on the Google Search Engine Results for your specific keyword.

If you want to use youtube and post videos you may want to edit and put your URL on it.

I’d recommend using

Step 1 – Download YouTube video and Convert to .AVI format.

Zamzar – YouTube to .AVI Conversion

This will get your youtube .flv file into an .avi file that you can import into Media Movie Maker.

Step 2 – Open in MovieMaker

Windows XP: Movie Maker 2.1 Download or Download details: Windows Movie Maker 2.6 for vista.

Make necessary changes.

Step 3 – Upload .AVI onto YouTube.

Upload your video onto youtube.

Most people by now definitely know what YouTube is probably more then Santa now. There are millions of videos on you tube, you can watch just about any video you want from skateboard falls, parkour, people falling, people hurting themselves, people doing dumb things and much more.

There are a few different ways to make money online through YouTube. I’m going to tell you a few methods that I know about.

I would simply start off by NOT buying any youtube make money online manuals like many newbies will do. They like to do this because they believe there is a get rich quick scheme to making money online.

I’ve listed some great tips below to get you started in the right direction to make money with YouTube.

Becoming a Popular YouTube User

If you are interested in video or becoming a producer starting off with creating your own YouTube videos will start in teaching you how to become a better producer. A popular YouTube video can make you famous someday even if what you are blogging about wasn’t true at all.

Generate Traffic & Backlinks

If you aren’t that interested in becoming a popular youtuber. An want to just use YouTube to drive traffic to your blog or website. That is perfectly fine and a great idea. You will need to learn how to create youtube videos and upload them. I may be posting more youtube tutorials in the future. I’d like to write a great step-by-step youtube tutorial.

YouTube is a great candidate for a good backlink for your website regarding whatever niche you are into. You will be damn sure that people are searching for it on youtube.

Other Methods To Make Money With YouTube

Those are a few of the most common ways to make money online. I’m sure if you are creative you can develop your own unique way to get your product across to your buyers.

For my own personal reasons I use YouTube to get backlinks and traffic to my website. You can do this with about almost any niche.

StumbleUpon is a social bookmarking website where you can discover nice websites and tell your friends about it. It’s a social bookmarking feature of the new web 2.0.

I’ve heard about it for a while now. I just started using it. You can find amazing websites that people find. It can be a great waste of time too, because theres just so much to be found.

The reason why, I want to recommend stumbleupon is the affect it has on getting ranked on search engines.

You’ll notice by this image here, that you can see the SU logo.

Sign up for an account an download their add-on plugin for FireFox.

You can instantly, stumble upon sites by clicking the ‘I Like It” button.

If it’s already added – After you stumble it, it will turn gray.
If it’s not added – It will pop-up a window asking a description of the website.

Stumble Upon Tips

If you plan on getting setup with Stumble Upon here are few things to do:

• Customize Your Profile
• Join Stumble Upon Groups
• Add Friends, whom have similar common interests to yourself.
• Stumble Pages! Stumble all the  great websites, you come in contact with.
