If you are new to the world of the internet you may not be familiar with firefox plugins. A plugin is a special add-on to your Mozilla Firefox web browser that will allow you to perform special functions.
There are many different Firefox plugins that you can download for free. There are not many paid plugins that I know about I believe everything they offer is for free.
If you are running a Linux, Firefox comes pre-installed on Ubuntu so it will already have Firefox as it’s default browser.
They have Firefox plugins from Appearances, Bookmarks, Dictionaries, Feed Readers, Photos, Music, Videos, Security, Toolbars, Web Development and much more.

Firefox Plugin – Colorful tabs. I think this feature looks great.

Firefox Plugin – Firebug. As a web designer you sometimes need to edit your CSS this plugin becomes very useful.

The main Firefox extensions that most people will be using are Adobe Acrobat, Apple Quicktime, Macromedia Flash, Macromedia Shockwave, Macromedia Media Player, RealPlayer and Java.
