How To Advertise For a Proxy Site

You can read my last few posts on proxy sites and why I suggest they are a great money making method to try if you are a beginner on the internet.

This post is a How To Guide dedicated to teaching you how to market and advertise your brand new proxy site. There are a few different ways you can advertise your proxy site

Paid Advertising

You can pay for banner ad and/or text links on proxy list websites for a per month fee. Most of these can generate 500-1000 uniques in a month and paying $5 or $10/month for them isn’t a bad idea.

Proxy Submission Sites

Proxy submission sites are sites that have proxy lists. You can register and submit your own proxy, it will be displayed on the New Proxies section and on their website. Search google to find a list of proxy submission sites.

Proxy Topsites

Proxy topsites are top sites in the proxy niche. It’s a ranking site and ranks based on how many clicks it gets or how popular a proxy site is.

Social Networking

Tell all your friends or make a dummy account and start adding friends from everywhere. You can then tell them about your proxy.

Search Engine Marketing

Ranking your proxy site on the search engines will give you a consistent amount of traffic and it’s not that difficult as most people think.

Yahoo Answers

There are many people asking how they can unblock myspace or facebook and you can respond helpfully with a link to your brand new proxy that most likely won’t be banned by schools and businesses.

Proxy Groups & Forums

It’s good to participate or even create your own proxy group or forum. You will have access to all the members to your group and/or forum.

Create a Newsletter

If you are creating a network of proxy sites. It’s a good idea to have a newsletter and start gettnig your visitors to subscribe to your proxy newsleter. You can build it up over time and create new proxy sites that they can visit every week. If your making $50-100/day from a proxy site. It doesn’t hurt to buy another domain and create another one.
