I’ll be focusing on waking up at 5am and sleeping around 10-11pm. I need to get some work done for each website so I can rank about 5 sites if not more on the front page of google for this month.

Ok, so I am using Windows Calender and I setup a list of my scheduled to-do list of all my sites. I want to get backlinks for each and every website so I can rank all my sites for their kws on page 1 by the end of the month. Here’s how it looks so you have an idea of what I did to keep track of things.

As you can see, I want a pretty productive day since I’m not going to be going to school or working a full-time job. Means I’m doing this internet marketing stuff full-time so I need to pull a decent income and the fastest way to make that income is to get more traffic. You can only make so much money per person the only way to scale and make more is to make more money off more people. Which means in need more traffic to my own websites on a daily basis.

If I can target 20,000 unique visitors from all my websites that would be a nice payout per day from my websites. The only think in the way of that is not having enough backlinks pointing to your site.

-3.10pm Spending time finding a web design company name. I will get this up and advertise locally and outsource the work.

-4.21pm Found a name, buying it from Namecheap

-8.27pm I bought the domain and been working on the website check it out Walnut Creek Web Design at CreatixSolutions.com. I’m getting it and adding content and going to make it presentable. I’ll be hiring someone to make a logo or go with one of those logo companies that build logos for like $15-25.

Ran into trouble so had to troubleshoot it. The Older Entries & Newest Entries links weren’t working properly with the Page system going to Page 1, Page 2, etc. It took a good hour to figure out how to fix it but after trial and error I ended up figuring it out. To show you what I had to do was change the code within the Appearance > Editor to index.php and blog.php. I fixed the query_posts tag to show up differently if it’s called on with a Page #.

I had to switch it from:

CODE 1: <?php query_posts(“category_name=$portfolio_cat”);  ?>

CODE 2: <?php $paged = (get_query_var(‘paged’)) ? get_query_var(‘paged’) : 1;

query_posts(“category_name=$portfolio_cat&paged=$paged”); ?>

For the main homepage of my website now it works completely. Page 1 | Page 2 | Page 3 of my portfolio so far. The difference between the two codes is Code 1 just prints out posts from the portfolio category without using the & paged tag code, incase they click the next/old links. So the second code fixes it and I found the answer on this page Older entries/newer entries not working It took about 8-15 tries through different posts to find my answer but I eventually found it after about 1 hour later. It takes hard work to make money online .

I also have my blog section which will be on Web Design blog posts which you can find here Page 1 | Page 2. I also did the same thing with this I just changed portfolio to blog to fix it since all my posts are in blog category not portfolio.

That’s all I will be working on today. I hope to be much more productive tomorrow. However, I think I did a decent job for today. I actually spent a good 3-4  hours of productive work. I do want to focus on spending 8 hours per day on productive work on my websites.

10.06pm – researching on mmog blog and what I should do with it. Need to also find a logo designer so I can get a logo made for this blog as well as my web design website.
