Becoming A Systems Administrator
Another good idea, work as a system administrator. I think they can get paid anywhere from $40,000 to $120,000 a year. I think it’s a decent job because I wouldn’t want to do it all my life. I’m going to need to learn systems administration anyways, if I plan on doing business on the internet in the future.
A systems admin will maintain and operate a network of computer systems. This includes tasks such as: installing, supporting, and maintaining servers or other computer systems, and planning for and responding to service outages and other problems. Systems admins also learn more advanced things such as scripting, light programming, and/or supervise and train computer operations, they are also the consultant for any computer problems beyond technical support. They must know a lot about computer security.

In some cases, candidates are expected to possess industry certifications such as the Microsoft MCSA, MCSE, Red Hat RHCE, Novell CNA, CNE, Cisco CCNA or CompTIA’s A+ or Network+, Sun Certified SCNA, Linux Professional Institute among others.
One thing that needs to be done is you need to pass the Microsoft MCSA Certification. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator Learn the benefits Learn about MCSA certification benefits.

I’m guessing the next thing you want to look at is Get certified on Windows Server 2008.
I’m also interested in also learning about the Unix/Linux Systems Administration side also. This will help me with my own internet ventures and learn how to manage my own Unix/Linux servers online.
I’m going to be looking more into it, maybe start learning and get my certifications this year.
I’m doing this to better myself, so in-case I’m not capable of creating my own successful businses. I can instantly drop everything and get paid a $80k+ year job, easily. It’s also to expand my range of skills so I can open myself up to further opportunities in multiple directions.
Here are a few good links on learning more about becoming a Unix/Linux administration.
